Total War Attila Optimization

Just got my new pc: R9 280 and FX6300Still runs attila like ♥♥♥♥, even when my gpu is overclocked. When I got everything on high quality; I run around 30-40 fps in battles and thats okay, but in the campaign map I run like 10-20fps. Even when I have the graphics on perfomance the campaign map lags like sh.t.I remember that I had similiar problems with Total War: Rome on my former pc, but after some patches i't got fixed. Will they ever optimize Attila? Seems like they just care about Warhammer now. I suppose that Attila is not bad optimized. It's an EXTREME HUGE Game and it needs a very STRONG CPU.CA loves Intel - the Total War Games love Intel.Your FX 6300 is not bad - but not good enough for Attila.Rome 2 works good - also with older Phenom II CPU's - but Attila needs much more Power. At least you should have an Intel Core i 5 4460 - then it will be a bit better. As far as I know is Attila so great, that you need an Intel quad core with Hyperthreading - then the game will run well. I Don't get i't, the game looks very similiar to Rome in graphics, and Rome run pretty smoth with my cpu.

Built in isight driver windows 10 0. I have problem on total war attila fps is too low and game is not use all. This is the worst optimized Total War ever, with Empire Total War.

Do you think they will fix/optimize the game etc later on:P? Originally posted by:No they won't fix it because they're focused on the next unoptimized game. It makes me sick that I wasted money on this game. I run Rome 2 with like 70-90 FPS on very high settings. But I have to play this garbage on thet lowest settings and the end turn takes like 4 minutes before It's my turn again because it's laggy.

I think I'm done with total war seriesSorry that you have issues with the game. Could it be that you are just a frustrated fan boy?

Apparently the series has 'dissapointed' you, then just stop buying anything from them.If you think the game is garbage: why haven't you deinstalled it? What are you waiting for? Attila total war is graphical better and heavier on your system then Rome2.

Attila total war is a well optimized game for pc!! The problem can be that your graphics card is overclocked, i had a couple of friends that had problems with games because they used an overclocked card. It can be a lot of things, but Attila is heavier on your pc then Rome2 is. They will update Attila more in the future just have some patience, they release bigger updates for Attila so they take more time to produce. For Rome2 there were more updates and frequently but that was because of the bad launch, Atilla's launch was very good so they don't update so frequent but when they do the updates are big to solve more bugs or issues at once. The total war games are awesome but they are really complex games to make so give it some time, Attila is a really nice game and with Warhammer total war coming up you can't give up on the series now your gonna miss out on propably the biggest and most awesome total war title to date, they have different teams working on the different games so they won't abonden Attila you can be sure of that, they just release larger updates that take more time to produce.

This has to be the worst total war game I have seen when it comes to how bad it runs. I own every total war since Rome Total War, I plan to continue supporting these developers but it just seems that with every new game the performance takes a huge dive for something that doesn't look THAT much better than the previous game.Well Warhammer is going to be something completely new and exciting, Attila runs like a dream on my pc, never had any issues.
